Complementary Medicine session
On Wednesday 23rd March we will be having a day on complementary medicine.
Kinnary's recommended pre-course reading is:
- The BMA's advice on referrals to complementary therapists, www.bma.org.uk;
- BMJ (13/3/04) 2004:328:604, news extra, on regulatory bodies;
- BMJ 2003:327:1250 (29/11/03), news extra on GPs offering complementary medicine;
- BMJ 2003:326:1322 (14/6/03), short piece on attitudes towards cam;
- BMJ 2003:326:1280-81, editorial on geese and eggs.
Kin reassures anxious registrars that all of these are short pieces and will take no more than 10-15 minutes of reading total, plus a few more of digesting and consideration...
