If you are due to have an F2 doctor in your practice for the first time, do have a look at the Severn Deanery Handbook for Foundation Doctors in General Practice!

In addition to that, we recommend that you attend this short course explaining what to do, and how to do it.

2.00    registration, refreshments

2.30    introductions; hopes & fears about taking on a GP F2 doctor

3.30    groupwork, followed by plenary

• the F2's induction to General Practice
• what is the GP supervisor's role?
• what level of responsibility and supervision is right?
• how much teaching should there be, and what should to be covered?

4.00    tea

4.15    the assessment tools and e-portfolio

5.00    end
