Severn and Wessex Association of Course and Programme Organisers

Educational Resources

SWACPO was dissolved in April 2007, when the Severn and Wessex Deanery split into two.

These web pages are kept as a record and resource.

Swindon/Bath DRC's on-line resources - the index page for over 30 on-line study guides, GP Registrar preparation guides, plus their on-line resources for GP Trainers.

The first month - Bill Irish's super study guide for the first month as a GP Registrar.

Audit - Michael Harris has produced this study guide on audit, including advice on Summative Assessment.

Primary Care Research - this introduction to research is primarily aimed at GP Registrars.

Resources for GP Educators

Association of Course Organisers - the national body representing the views of Course Organisers in Britain.

Medical Statistics Made Easy - information and an order form for our very own Michael Harris's book on medical statistics. It costs £12.99, and is written in the same, easy-to-follow format as this website. It is designed specifically for the MRCGP exam. The information may take a minute to download.

Assessment tools
